New Patients and Clinic Information
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. MedHealth Clinic is currently accepting new patients. Please contact our reception to book a “Meet and Greet” appointment today.
Where is MedHealth Clinic located?
MedHealth Clinic is located in Northeast Edmonton (3371 153 AVE NW Edmonton) right next to Manning Town Centre.
What languages are spoken at the clinic?
Our team can support patients in multiple languages, including English, Yorba, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi. We are more the happy to help you in your language of choice.
Appointments and Booking
Do you offer walk-in or same-day appointments?
Yes. We offer same-day and walk-in appointments depending on physician availability. Feel free to call to find about our wait times.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are always recommended. However walk-ins may be accepted depending on availability. For complex concerns, meet and greets, medical forms, or follow-up visits, booking an appointment is required.
How do I book an appointment?
You can contact MedHealth Clinic directly by phone (780-800-2424) or visit the clinic to ask about appointment availability

What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring your Alberta Health Care card, photo ID, a list of current medications, and any relevant medical documents, forms, or test results.
Can I book multiple concerns in one appointment?
Appointments are scheduled to deal with 1-2 concerns at a time. Please let the front desk know if you have multiple concerns. Some issues may require a longer appointment or a separate follow-up visit.
How should I follow up on test results?
We recommend that patients book a follow-up appointment after completing blood work, imaging, or other investigations to review their results.
The clinic may also call or contact patients when follow-up is required.
If symptoms are ongoing or worsening, please book an appointment.
Late, Missed, or Cancelled Appointments
What if I am late for my appointment?
Please call the clinic as soon as possible. Late arrivals may need to wait, have a shorter appointment, or be rescheduled depending on physician availability and the clinic schedule.
What happens if I miss my appointment?
If you miss your appointment without notice, a missed appointment fee may apply. Missed appointments also limit availability for other patients who need care.
How much notice should I give to cancel or reschedule?
Please contact the clinic as early as possible if you cannot attend your appointment. We recommend giving at least 24 hours’ notice so the appointment time can be offered to another patient.
AVA Connect
What is AVA Connect?
Ava Connect [chyperlink: https://www.avaconnect.ca ] is a secure patient portal and digital communication platform that allows patients to access their personal health records, book appointments online and communicate with our clinic.
To be eligible for AVA Connect, you must be registered with a family physician at our clinic, and sign up with our reception with an email.
Uninsured Services
Do you complete medical forms and notes?
Yes. Our physicians can complete many types of medical forms and notes, including sick notes, employment letters, driver’s medical forms, disability forms, insurance forms, WCB/OIS forms.
Are forms covered by Alberta Health?
Some forms, notes, reports, and uninsured services are not covered by Alberta Health and may have a fee. Please contact the clinic for more information about fees and payments.
Do I need an appointment for a form?
Yes, many forms require an appointment so the physician can review your medical history and complete the form properly.
I am visiting from out of Canada, can I still see a doctor?
Yes, patients without a valid Canadian Healthcare number and patients from Quebec, will have to pay for their visit. Please call the clinic for more information.
Workplace Injuries
Do you help with workplace injuries?
Yes. MedHealth Clinic can see patients for WCB and OIS related injuries. Please let the front staff know when you check in.
Pharmacy
When is the pharmacy open?
Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Saturdays 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Can the pharmacist prescribe?
Yes. MedHealth Pharmacy has a prescribing pharmacist who can assist with eligible prescribing services, minor ailments, medication reviews, renewals, and consultations.
What if I am out of refills?
Our pharmacy team can review your medication and may be able to help by contacting your physician, assessing whether a pharmacist renewal is appropriate, or helping you book a clinic appointment if needed.
Can you help if I need a prescription urgently?
Please contact the pharmacy as soon as possible. Our team will review your situation and advise on the best next step.
Can I transfer my prescriptions to MedHealth Pharmacy?
Yes. Our pharmacy team can help transfer your prescriptions from another pharmacy. Call us at 780-800-2424.
Do you offer free prescription delivery?
Yes. MedHealth Pharmacy offers free prescription delivery for added convenience.
Can the pharmacist give injections?
Yes. Our pharmacist can administer eligible injections and vaccines when appropriate.
Do you offer travel health consultations?
Yes. MedHealth Pharmacy can provide travel health consultations, vaccination guidance, and travel-related medication support.
